A Giant Blue Playground

Cold Hawaii & Cold Hawaii Inland is a giant playground for sports, exercise and water-based activities. A number of locations along the coast and the Limfjord provide access to the many opportunities available.

Here are some of them.

Synopal

Here you will find Thy Cablepark, where you can enjoy waterskiing and wakeboarding – whether you are a beginner or a world champion. The spot also features a sauna, a child-friendly shallow-water beach, toilet and shower facilities, and a welcoming atmosphere where you can sit back and watch the spectacular tricks performed on the fjord.

Vilsund

In Vilsund, you will find, among other things, a floating shelter that can be booked for an overnight stay on the fjord. The spot is also ideal for kayaking or stand up paddleboarding (SUP). It offers toilet and shower facilities as well as an exciting fjord-themed playground.

Doverodde

This spot is located next to Naturlandsbyen and SMK Thy in southern Thy. It provides excellent conditions for a kayaking trip followed by relaxation in the surrounding area. Along the fjord, there is both a swimming pier and a landing pier for boats. The spot also features a water shelter that can be booked for overnight stays.

Søbadet

This spot is a public bathing facility open to everyone. It includes a bookable sauna with panoramic views of the fjord, as well as changing rooms, showers, and toilet facilities. Access to the water is provided via a large wooden deck and a swimming pier.

Cold Hawaii Spots

Along the entire coast you will find world-famous surfing spots, like pearls on a string. The area offers opportunities for traditional surfing, windsurfing, kitesurfing, an foil surfing. The small, charming villages along this  stretch of coastline have also become attractive places to visit and settle.
